The geodata from the Federal Office of Topography swisstopo are compiled and updated to a high standard. However, it is possible that a building may have been wrongly classified, a footpath may have been overlooked or a typing error may have crept into a name.
We are therefore happy to receive your correction reports, which help us to guarantee the quality of swisstopo products.

The swisstopo Revision Service offers you the chance to report errors or differences between the maps and real life or to make suggestions about the geodata to swisstopo. Your revision suggestions are checked by our specialists and then considered, subject to assessment, the next time the product concerned is updated.

You can make revision suggestions about the following products using the Revision Service:

• SwissNames
• Landeskarte
• Wanderkarten
• Skitourenkarten
• Strassenkarte

After you have found the part that needs correcting and selected the product concerned, you can include a point object as a revision suggestion.

In addition to specifying a location, we require a short comment from you. Please provide your name, telephone number and e-mail address in case of any further queries.

The suggestions (point objects) you have made will not be available for other users to see. Once you have closed your web browser, you will no longer be able to see your suggestions.

You will subsequently receive an e-mail confirming that your comment has been successfully sent. Your correction report will be considered the next time the products are updated.
