Measuring distances and areas

 

With these tools a distance or an area on the map can be approximately measured (with an accuracy of 1-2%). Click on a point to begin measuring, then click on each point on the line. Furthermore, curved lines may be generated while keeping the mouse button pressed. The procedure can be ended by a double click.
The result can be found directly below the main map and to the right.
