Choice of the map scale

The pull-down menu "map scale" shows a list of the different scales in which the map can be viewed. However, the values are only approximate values: they are accurate only at a screen resolution of 96 dpi. Since the application has no information about the resolution of your screen, the only guaranteed map scale reference is the map scale bar. Please note, however, that the scale on the printed map is accurate.
